Sorry we can't discuss the highbrow Kirk Cameron "I have to make up a bunch of things to make me look like I'm some persecuted minority so I can sell tickets to idiots who believe that Christians in America are being persecuted when, in reality, they are usually the ones doing the persecuting" Christmas movie farce at…
You mean like the "rich and peace-loving" American Christian culture, which starts wars under false pretenses because the ruler of the country in question tried to kill our ruler's dad?
His point of view does actually perpetrate negative stereotypes about anyone who is either not Christian or doesn't believe in his particular brand of Christianity, as well as continuing the "us vs. them" mindset that has taken over American conservatives.
I think he was one of the kaiju.
I concur with the Simon Baz sentiment. He definitely had potential but got shunted to the side. I was really hoping he was going to take over as the lead of the book after Johns left.
I've got the first 12 or so issues of the Denny O'Neil Question series in my "to read" pile, so I really can't answer that.
Yeah, but even Watchmen and The Dark Knight Returns had moments of levity and jokes in them.
I have no idea who this is.
I stopped reading Batwoman after Rucka left, honestly.
I just feel like Cyborg is essential to the Teen Titans lineup, and the Titans books have been floundering without him.
It still doesn't explain why, in the middle of an invasion, Batman decided to take off his cowl, tell Hal Jordan he was Bruce Wayne, and then immediately get captured by a bloodthirsty Parademon.
Some of the Batman stuff is really great too. Snyder and Capullo are killing it on the main title, Kyle Higgins did a great run on Nightwing that tied in nicely, and Morrison's Batman Inc wrapped up his time on Batman pretty nicely.

"I'm the Goddamn Aquaman!"
Yeah, everyone loves retconned sexual assault.
We can only hope they go with the Nu52 version of the JL, so they can all be self-centered assholes.
So you don't see a difference between "laden with jokes" and "no jokes?"
It's just that "this hack" is usually the phrase that people use when they come here to complain that O'Neal posted articles about Gene Simmons being an asshole or whatever.
Not to mention that one of the main reasons people loved The Dark Knight was The Joker's dark humor.
