Alice Cooper was one of my first shows when I was about 14 years old. I can still remember a lot of that show, which isn’t something I can say for dozens and dozens of other, bigger shows more recently. I’ve also liked everything I’ve read about him. An absolute rarity.

You’re burying the lede here! This article doesn’t even mention that the comic was written by the Karate Kid himself.

The rare video interview I want to watch and it’s not working in my browser! I really appreciate the transcription. I can’t wait to watch this; Burning convinced me Yeun can do anything.

When I started watching The Unicorn, Michaela went from one of those comedians where you say “cool, she’s in this?” every time she shows up to one of my favorite working comedians. She brings such a great focused energy to the part and her chemistry with Corddry is probably my favorite thing about the show.

I watched Clue and it’s now on my list of favorite cult movies; so many levels of humor in that movie and none of them are on the same wavelength. I’m hoping to drag my friends to a midnight screening in the future if any theaters survive.

Did Ezra reverse positions on not using gendered pronouns? I just read the linked GQ article where it’s mentioned that they were trying not to use “he/him”, but then the pull quote from the showrunner uses “He” (as does AV Club) and I’m guessing the showrunner wouldn’t be actively going against a performer’s wishes

Maybe he was on his way back from rehearsal with his extremely Amish-sounding side project.

I think the Try Guys did this (tested driving drunk vs stoned) several years ago on a closed course, so it’s possible, but not even novel!

The bathroom clip is the only one where the editing isn’t actively working against visual clarity, so I don’t blame you.

It really is too bad that you give us video proof of this not being good, because the pitch is intriguing and even your write-up hadn’t totally put me off. My friends and I watch somewhere between 12-20 horror movies every October, so once the river really runs dry we might give this a swing.

Cool, then I might actually find time to watch this! Reading VA Jim Cummings’ twitter really bummed me out.

Around 2016, I watched through the 6th season of the show (largely propelled by Gilmore Guys, which started getting tired around the time that the show started going off the rails) and for the last couple years I couldn’t remember what it was I liked about it.

Every time I read a Random Roles I come out of it liking the actor a lot more.

This show was such a breath of fresh air and it’s nice to hear the actors encouraged the things about the show that made it so wonderful. Hearing that Eugene and Catherine steered their characters’ relationship towards something stable makes a huge difference in how the whole tone of the show is perceived.

I bought a bottle of aviation to make a gin martini after seeing Blake Lively make one in A Simple Favor... I don’t know if she pushed specifically for the specific drink knowing it could this effect on her husband’s brand, but I will say it made a good martini and a better aviation, so no complaints here.

Hooray! I clicked into this article just to give this opinion and then found someone who already had. I’ll hang around another 5 minutes or so to pad the bounce rate numbers.

This list is somehow the first time I’ve noticed that AVC reviewed both Your Name and Weathering With You, and I’m gobsmacked that Weathering got the higher review + better recommendation!

I know, right? Any time I see a single-letter substitution, I briefly forget how to read or think critically. A simple typo can send me tailspinning for days or even weeks. I’ve never adjusted to any sort of journalistic best practices in my lifetime, and I expect that when I’m very old my grandchildren will neglect

This is one of the few books I ever read that made me take a break from reading afterwards. I don’t think even morbid curiosity will get me in the theaters for it.

“We play with other people together” is sentence 3 of the first question, so there’s definitely a stated interest.
