Not bad on the Whiskey I suppose, however Buffalo Trace can be hard to find in a lot of places. If you can’t find it you can’t go wrong with a Old Forrester 1920, Wild Turkey 101, or Old Grandad Bonded.

I think if you’re going to get someone a scotch, get them a Highland, never an Islay. Islay folks probably enjoy a good Highland. However if the person you’re buying for doesn’t like Islay, that bottle becomes a paperweight.

Worth noting that, oddly, the one everyone knows is chocolate and it’s actually not a particularly big deal. Your dog needs to eat a fuck ton of real chocolate to be problematic. If they eat some you don’t need to rush them to the vet, give the vet a shout, they’ll tell you not to worry and what to keep an eye out for.

Oh fun, not sure how I missed this. I worked at one of Urban Commons properties for 6 years from the time they took over until earlier this year. It was a nightmarish and endless series of lies about how we would get money for this or that after X thing happens in X number of months.

I bought our last car from a Mazda dealer, all the negotiation happened via e-mail. I got a great deal on the car through e-mail, spent 20 minutes signing paperwork and cutting a check at the dealership, 10 minutes getting the new owner tour of the car and we were off. I think some brands are figuring it out.

My dad had one of these. It got totaled by a deer and sat in our garage for almost two decades with my dad swearing eventually he would get it back on the road. He really loved that car, alas life got away from him and he had to sell it a few years back.

Yes, it’s definitely a light.

The vocals are pretty damn good. Nikolas register always felt super up there, Tony still seems to hit the majority of the notes.

I don’t understand this at all. If I lose my wallet, I have my phone to help me get that sorted out. If I lose my phone I have my wallet to help me get that sorted out.

Are you me? Any time I heard someone talking about getting a car and the Outback comes up (which is always because: Colorado) I give them the story of how it is EASILY the most boring, lethargic, uninspired vehicle I have ever driven, full stop.

I went once when I first got here 7 years ago. One person I was with asked for the vegetarian option and the cashier asked very suspiciously for her to clarify if that was for health reasons or just a preference. So I’ve not been back. But I’m up for a Defector does Denver meetup!

My in-laws brought me a gift of hopped whiskey from a distillery in Montana and it was so bad it made me want to cry. I hope this isn’t like that.

A report exists that says there are flaws and outlines how to exploit them, in a stroke of brilliance a judge orders that very fucking valuable information maybe SHOULD NOT be in the hands of anyone who wants it.

Upgrades are priced out, if you ask for an upgrade we’ll tell you what that upgrade costs, is it probably cheaper than if you had booked the upgrade outright? Yes, but it’s still likely going to have a cost attached, we incentivize our desk agents to sell upgrades, so you might just be helping us out as well.

I just want o

I need this just for baby bottles.

Its cool in its kitsch, but that runs out immediately upon eating anything they serve as “food.” That said, I’m sure if these two hire a good management group they’ll do quite well. Having their name attached to it will just grow it’s destination appeal, add in food that’s even fractionally edible and I bet this place

I used to work for the prior leaseholder, not at the QM but one of their other properties. You want to write about a shit show...that’s a shit show.

Yes, closing a credit card is almost always a bad idea, the exception being cards with fees (maybe, sort of depends on the fee and your tolerance for it). It not only reduces your available credit (major factor) but depending on the age of the card could damage your average credit age (moderate factor) which is also a

My dad had a 1982 Plymouth (Mitsubishi) Sapporo, I don’t remember a ton about it, but my dad adored that car. It was totaled and sat in our garage for over a decade with my dad swearing he was going to get it back on the road, just never materialized.
