This ignores the fact that EVERY time a bad movie does well there’s a fair amount of speculation as to why. It has nothing to do with the age of the questioner or being “fucking out of touch”.

Hahaha I completely spaced on that part. It turned in to background noise so when the FNAFs got the sister from her house I didn’t even put together that she was there.

I don’t know what the critics were reacting to. It wasn’t amazing, very logical or even particularly scary

The weird thing is that Disney’s Haunted Mansion movie was scarier than FNAF.

Which is pretty on-brand for FNAF, really. It’s always been a franchise that I liked the IDEA of but the execution just never got there.

The biggest takeaway for me is that The Mummy Returns is apparently considered a horror movie.

Loved M3GAN, Five Nights was okay, ish. I feel my biggest complaint was it was a wasted opportunity.

Yeah, the “I just got bored of it” didn’t help their careers at all, understandably.

Ironically, their mishandling of the final season and the blow back from it, tanked the projects they were rushing so hard to get to

Of all the problems with the show, this was not one of them.

They basically took all character development and plot pacing and threw it all out the window in order to wrap things up NOW.
