I thought the issue was that he slid to his knees rather than going to his knees after he had stopped running.

How much downtime does he have between "episodes"? Is it consistent?

I don't know why, but I misread the first line of this article as "Get fucked, pumpkin America," and it made my whole day.

I'm kind of disappointed that this article isn't tagged "butter."

I've never understood public proposals on any scale, from putting it on a stadium scoreboard to involving your friends. If you need peer pressure to ensure a "yes," maybe you aren't really ready to ask. I applaud every woman who's ever said no in one of these situations. Not just for the schadenfreude factor, but

This, apparently, needs to go up in every NFL locker room:

It's Not Very Effective!

When they begin human trials, will a male be left in a room with 10-15 females as well?

Put her on the air, now!

Yeah, I can't get rid of my Wisconsin accent. It's like a watered-down version of the MinneSOHtah accent in Drop Dead Gorgeous. And it's hard to notice in real-time as I speak, but any time I hear myself in a recording, I think I sound like a hick.

I've created a helpful chart for Walter.

Like you, I used to be split down the middle. But then I saw the light: lithium batteries.

That's like saying, "I only eat SpaghettiOs." It will just make people worried for you.

I know! And there's so little waste. Want to install a tee? Cut your tube and snap one in. Need to replace a fitting? It'll cost you a 1/2 inch of tube and a 5-cent compression ring.

I'm very glad that my house's last owners upgraded to PEX. It's super easy to work with and very forgiving.

That almost sounds like a movie title.

I've had limited success with custom Windows shortcuts, too. I was trying to assign one to a specific program but just gave up after it worked only intermittently, pinned it to the taskbar, and launched it with Win+3.

Not that this specific trick wouldn't be preferable in some cases, but don't forget you can just press Win+e to open "My Computer" on any Windows PC from Windows 8 all the way back to Windows 95. Very useful when you're on someone else's PC; beats trying to figure out how they've set up their icons and Start Menu.

Agreed. Any time you're doing any kind of (supply-side) plumbing work, hit the main shutoff. Why wouldn't you want that extra layer of protection?

I can't not comment on this. This drain is all kinds of screwy.
