“hold their value better than anything else out there”
So I owned two HD bikes, was a fan of the bar and shield, and wanted a third. I found a pair of really good dealerships that took care of me, knew which ones to avoid like the plague, and had a good time overall with mine (and put a lot of miles on them too). There were two things that got me out of it, finally, and…
The wheels on the bus go different directions sometimes.
Lol’d at “Isn’t that where they keep the runway?” What an awesome line!

If I had to die, being blown to death would pretty much be at the top of my list.
NHRA has historically been a good home for women who like speed. Far from perfect, for sure, but I’d argue the NHRA has been one of the more supportive of women entering the sport. The jr. dragster class in my area actually had I think 20 or 30% young girls doing almost 100mph.....before they’re 13.
The difference between women race car drivers and race car drivers who are women:
There is a lady at my local track who races open and closed wheel. She’s in her late 60's. The first time I met her, I asked why she raced and she said and I quote “Because I’m bad at knitting”.
You’d have to Putin a lot of work on that truck.
Nothing to do with the whole Trump thing, but I wouldn’t be Russian to buy it.
True Earth-shaking requires axle-hop!
Don’t they use a glideslope the help the autopilot and crew line up to the actual runway? Maybe it’s not that granular. But the system worked, although if the wrong chain successfully executed at each step then it would’ve been Tenerife X 2 or 3.
O Canada...
Ricky Matthew Reavis has to be among the most NASCAR-ish names ever.
And if the car is upside down resting on its canopy how is that going to work? F1 tracks are big and the cars carry a lot of fuel. A fire or rescue vehicle might not be right there or able to access them immediately should they crash, so drivers need to be able to get out quick, under their own steam.
Oh I actually hadn’t seen any reference to Top Fuel, so this wasn’t a misdirected reply, but I’m glad you’ve gone over in more detail just why fixing the F1 problem isn’t like fixing that problem.
