Yes, at first it seems like a waste of taxpayer dollars. However, this is a good example of thinking on your feet and calling for a real-world style training exercise.

For some reason he tends to get booted in favor of other drivers consistently. Furniture Row, JR Motorsports, Morgan McClure, he can’t seem to keep a ride. He’s clearly talented, so maybe it’s personality?

Same for Sadler at JR. One Main is a sponsor that follows him around.

In today’s sponsorship driven world I don’t think it’s possible, but I would love to see Hendrick move the #88 back to the #25 and let 4-5 of these young guys get a shot at some races. Give it one year and whoever has the best average finish or impresses most gets the job.

Cassill was in devolopment with JR and they let him go. I would assume there’s a reason why. Second chances are hard to come by.

I’m pulling for Bowman, but I don’t think he has enough star power. I would guess it’ll be Byron unless Hendrick can sign somebody away from another team. With Stewart-Haas going to Ford Cole Custer is out of the picture.

He said for a long time that he intended to get out of the Cup Series and drop down to Xfinity for a year, then Trucks for a year, then Late Models until the end. I’m sure he won’t be doing that anymore, but I would say there’s a chance he shows up in some races here and there. He’s also be highly courted by Fox and…

And probably also has him focusing out the windshield and at the gauges to make sure he doesn’t overheat/overrev/run out of air for the brakes and not checking the mirror as much.

How much are these things going to fall off and how fast? 0.4 of a second every lap for 10 laps puts you 4 seconds out ahead of someone on “normal” tires. After 10 laps are they going to drop off a second a lap and allow the guys on other tires to close in quickly?

I’m all for giving teams more options, but not a fan of this one. Goodyear already struggles at times to bring a good tire to the track. Now they’re going to have to make 500 extra tires of a different compound each weekend?

I think these three had better chemistry on screen than any of the other 3 man car shows (CHM included). I’ll be tuning in.
