I did North Shore in Minnesota last summer and can confirm that it is gorgeous. It also has a very nice homey feel with lots of roadside shops and places to stop. Worth the trip.

Rural Midwest.
Why does there need to be a new one? 1.5 million for the Beast. Made with the best of everything in 2007. How can it be out of date already? If you want another one, I get it. But why are we replacing something that is working just fine in its current role?
I’m much too tall, but I’d like to try one of these....
I bought one. Don’t fail me guys!

Completely agree with riding in too tall of a gear. That will help make everything smoother and more natural. Not having to worry about jerky throttle inputs adds a level of confidence.
There is such a big aftermarket for their whole lineup I can understand it. Why spend millions of dollars in R&D on a new rear suspension setup (for example) when there is tons of aftermarket support out there for your current setup and nobody is complaining?
Good luck!
It goes both ways. My ex thought that I should make every meal for her and do all of the kitchen cleaning, while she watched TV after work. It didn’t go well.
When I moved in with my ex I started a joint account for us. We each put in 30% of our monthly income to cover all of the bills, groceries, etc. We were both putting in the same percentage of our income (we made vastly different amounts) which made things feel equal and we never needed to have an awkward conversation…
Tell that to this guy:
How does it do in “spirited” riding. Not from a sportbike prospective, but from a “can I feel like I’m hustling this thing, is it fun, and do I feel like I’m in control?” perspective.
Thanks dude. They look like apes in that picture but they’re more like beach bars. Low and wide. I think it was uphill to the bike when I took that shot.
That was hard for me too. I was on some 125cc dual sport (MSF class) and I finally convince them I needed to do it in 2nd gear. First was too choppy for me. I did that, drug the rear brake a ton, and felt like I was over-exaggerating when turning my head. Low and behold, the bike came right around to where I was…
First time something I’ve suggested has been used. Feels good. Thanks!
Look where you want to go.
5/5 would puke
Steve Morris built this motor. 615 ci, and they drove it 1,000 miles. Lots of differences, but I’d say they’ll find a way to make it happen.
I would guess If they’re going to the drag race world for the motor they’ll do that for the rest of the drivetrain as well. Turbo 400 variant? That’s what most of the big time drag/street cars run. Maybe a Lenco?
Morris is one of the better engine builders out there. Him, Sonny Leonard, and Proline Engines seem to be the ones you hear about at Drag Week. Big power and they stay together. I don’t doubt that this one does what it’s advertised (at least for awhile. I’m guessing there’s a complete teardown/rebuild after 5-6…
