I forgot John Moreland!
I forgot John Moreland!
I hear ya. I look back at Sirens of the Ditch, which had a definite indie rock vibe to it and wish for a little more of that from Isbell. But, times change, the artists tastes change, and their music changes. Someone will come along and fill the gap.
I like Chris Stapleton, however I’m not sure the guy who wrote “Swing” for Trace Adkins can be the savior of country music.
Get ready, Timberlake is recording a country record.
Ten bucks says he gets thrown back to the forefront. He’s closest to Stapleton in writing prowess, attitude, and feel in Nashville right now, and he’s a known entity.
That was a big part of it. The category was a big “one of these things is not like the other.”
Don’t forget Chris Knight and Randy Rogers. American Aquarium is making their way on this list too.
DING DING DING DING DING. We have a winner.
Agreed. He’s more Americana. He might have a couple of songs that could go to radio if the tides begin to change, but I don’t think he’ll ever be a “country” artist. Nor do I think he cares to be.
It would have blown up anyway I think. Too much talent to fit into 90 minute shows and 12 song albums. Jason breaking away and getting sober was the best possible scenario I think.
This is I think the biggest headline coming out of this. If you want a critically acclaimed record, Dave Cobb’s name better be on the sleeve.
Except Sturgill doesn’t consider himself a country artist and could give a shit if others do. People have tried to put that title on him before and he has rejected it time and time again. He’ll gladly let Stapleton have it.
First of, *won
They’ve been making these Cobra Jets for a few years now. This is not a new thing. All three of the major manufactures make a car for the Super Stock class. All have solid axles for drag racing purposes. It’s less about alienating or shunning a group of enthusiasts and more about the marketing of their brand in the…
Now my question is who drives the 20 next week? Eric Jones? If so Matt Kenseth should be worried about more than Joey Logano. That kid has talent, he’s marketable, and people want to see him in a cup car. What are the chances the sponsors put pressure on Gibbs to make a change behind the wheel? If it were to happen,…
I don’t think Earnhardt ever would wreck the leader two races after the fact and after his own car was torn up. He had more saavy than that.
As said above, this is reserve hunting, probably with a pointing dog. The dog points on the bird, the shooter gets ready, and the sound heard could be the command for dog to flush the bird. Those dogs are really impressive. The hunter, not so much. But, guides want those who pay to come to their reserves to get good…
Living in MN I just put my bike up for the winter. They use waaaay too much salt here for me to want to get it out after any snow has hit the ground. I wait until the first few good spring rains wash that crap off the road to get the bike back out.
Brobot. That’s genious
Come to Brainerd for the Lucas Oil Nationals. It’s like this, but, ya know, Minnesota so more tame. So you can party without ever feeling unsafe. Then, to cure your hangover, Nitromethane.
