I stood behind the starting line for some Top Alcohol Funny Cars last year. Not even the big boys, but still 6.00 @ 250 mph and the first time you see it from that perspective your brain can’t process it. The car is right there in front of you, then all of a sudden it’s quarter mile away with the chutes out.

NHRA National Event. There’s nothing like seeing those cars in person. Tickets are relatively cheap and the access is better than any other racing series of the same caliber.
