Nah.  I think it would’ve held up in a blind taste test vs. any of the major light beers.  It certainly wasn’t worse than Coors Light.

Better tie-breaker, and maybe even better than #4, 5, or 6. Add up the total minutes of play (ALL minutes) that each team was in the lead in ALL games. This measure is directly related to play on the pitch, and this amount of time would be absolutely impossible to be identical between any two teams!
