Don’t try and apply levelheadedness here on the (former) gawker sites. They won’t stand for it! It’s pitchforks and fire only. No indiscretion ever goes unpunished by all these upstanding commenters.

I didn’t expect much, TBH. But what really bothered me was that he predominantly showed empathy towards Mixon, as if he were the victim, and hoped that he would use his second chance to succeed in the NFL.
He expects us to walk on eggshells constantly and jump down everyone’s throats for the slightest indiscretions.
I’m confused as to why you made up a quote when you didn’t need to... so here it is in full for you:
I mean, should he read court documents during a game? I’m not watching the game, but what exactly did people expect would be said about Mixon tonight?
And yet somehow, in terms of career humiliations, this barely ranks in Kiffin’s top five.
Some people just like being the center of attention. I’m all for the movement he is fighting for but he would serve that movement far better by going to Law school and advocating for change that way rather than rappelling down a banner at a Vikings game. Not saying law school is the only way to go to facilitate change…
Seriously, a skinny, scruffy red-beard, poorly braided long hair, gray sweatpants wearing guy from South Minneapolis. He couldn’t fit the stereotype of a guy that would hang an anti-pipeline banner and than hang from a harness more if he popped a can PABST Blue Ribbon at the start of the fourth quarter. I hear they…

I was really hoping my boyfriend would win this year
Actually...it’s not. You look at Westbrook’s stat line after the ejection. You notice, holy shit! NO assists and over 5 TOs, that’s crazy! I wonder if this has happened before.
can you bump pay for a database?
Pssst, they have databases for this useless shit now.
well it’s hard to be a liar when you take a vow of silence
I think he probably did... And while I’m pretty staunch against steroid use, Pudge belongs in the HOF, as do Bonds and Clemens. Everyone in that era was using. Certain numbers may have been inflated, but the playing field was still level. Just an elevated level. Pudge was so unreal good, though.
Doesn’t help that he played on the Rangers in the 90s with Canseco and Palmeiro. I’m sure he is presumed guilty by association which sucks.
Well, never implicated necessarily, but he was heavily suspected (and like everyone else in that era, probably did). Definitely the first thing that stood out to me as well here. But the media loved him, so...
