Did anyone try yelling “Stop resisting!” over and over again? That legitimizes the force.

I had an interesting experience at the LA march. Overall, the whole day was amazing and lovely. I felt invigorated by the crowd. Something did happen that stood out a little, though, and it relates to your thoughts:

“SMILEY HAND TOY FROM VENDING MACHINE, MOM NOTED A RUBBER HAND PROTRUDING FROM RECTUM”

Just not his thyme yet.

Can we just have a round of appreciation here for the Jezebel writers, who have been ON THIS SHIT like nobody’s business? I am filled with love right now.

Someone painted, “pumpkin spice is people” outside my starbucks.

Hey Norm! If you had almost no money left, would you still gamble it? I know I would!

I wish I had this feature for subtlety telling my wife that she doesn’t fit into that dress anymore.

Nah, she’s too classy for that. I don’t think she needed to say anything because most women are going to hear that and just see red.

Was anyone else more offended by “your husband disagrees with you”? Like, the nasty woman bit, yeah we get it Donald Trump’s an unrepentant asshole, but that just felt so much more like the type of sexism women face all the time.

Legally Bland

Schilling looks like the truck driver at the counter in some diner in the middle of nowhere ready to tell you how the world REALLY works, which they aren’t gonna teach you in some fancy college.

Received full and unfettered access to the Houston Texans sidelines, post-game conference, and locker room as The Paper Texan looking to recreate the magic of George Plimpton’s The Paper Lion: reporting on the amazing physical and athletic prowess of professional athletes compared to the rest of us weekend warriors

Speaking of things that it’s just not the time to get into right now --

BLM: “Some police are assholes.”

My “baby” may be fucking 3 damn years old, but he has cerebral palsy and can't walk, so yes, he goes everywhere in a stroller. Don't make assumptions about people when you don't know their circumstances. Microaggressions abound, indeed.

I am so proud to know a woman who asked a guy in DC to move his briefcase off the seat so she could sit her 8+ month preggo self down. He pretended he did not hear her, so at the next stop, she grabbed said briefcase and threw it out the door. She felt kind of guilty later, per her text to me. I still believe it was

As someone with a heart condition, even though it was sometimes difficult for me to stand for long durations at a time in the immediate months following my surgery, I dealt with it and I’ve never once asked or expected anyone to give up their seat for me.
