Apparently the Clippers gave him an extra year and higher guarantees and he accepted not having a no-trade clause. I don’t think anyone thought Clippers did him dirty, its more like, why give him such a big contract but only to trade him afterwards so quickly.

Their uniforms were awesome though. Binghamton used to have their minor league team about 30 years ago, and they rotated the W logo 90 degrees to make it a B logo. It was pretty good, even if it didn’t make any sense that a Whale tail was emerging from the y axis.

If it came down to it, would FIFA rules/laws/whatever overrule US Labor Law? Doubtful. Maybe in other countries it might be different, I don’t know.
