I’ve lived here for six years. Try to get out of the Quarter. The Marigny and the Bywater are close enough to the Quarter, but a little more local and there’s a mix of food and drinks when you really just can’t eat anymore fried seafood etc. Also, skip Acme...it’s like the Applebee’s of Oyster joints.
