I found Serial S1 very frustrating (as a lawyer) because of Koenig's lack of understanding of the law. Then I thought if a lawyer did it, maybe it would be super boring. So, I'm conflicted.

He's gone away forever, right? We never have to deal with him again?
Coraline was so awesome, I'd have to imagine they'd have knocked it out of the park.
I love "They Live" but I had to give up on that commentary when RRP claimed that other wrestlers thought they had used CGI to make his muscles look so big in the movie. CGI muscles. In a movie. From 1988. It was this super weird humblebrag that was so clearly a lie I worried what else might transpire that would impact…
I bought it at the dollar store, which seemed like a fair deal.
AVC: Other people might say, “Are you Hillary Clinton?” “Are you Q?”
*SPOILER* if you know anything about the criminal justice system (on either side) it is supremely annoying.
Having listened to Serial, I would say I came away with the same impression as Oliviatremor. A host who doesn't understand the criminal justice system (at all) and is far more willing to poke holes in the state's case because Adnan seems so nice and charming.
"Haw-vey, nooooooo!"
Whoa. Dude. Whoa. That is nuts. Did you just have that slate column memorized?
Best episode of CBB? I think it is in the running. I also like an early episode with PFT hosting and guys from Superego as the open-door guests.
Yes, Butcher Bay is a classic. The level where you are in "triple-max" prison and given two minutes a day awake is incredible and something I'd never seen before in a game. The first-person hand-to-hand combat was also handled very well. The Xbox 360 version (with Dark Athena and I think the commentary) is a cheap…
I don't get the Charlie Chaplin "arrogant" irony. Explanation?
The commentary on the DVD of that movie is fascinating. And I'm not just saying that as a huge fan of the Running Man. Andrew Davis (the Fugitive) was fired a couple weeks into production and so they had to bring in Paul Michael Glaser, aka Starsky, to direct, as he worked very quick (Davis was taking too long and…
"It's eternity in there…"
Well… if it won't be commercial. I really, really want someone to make a student film of "Beachworld."
I liked WtWTA but really didn't care for BotSW. So, go in cautiously.
Incredibly specific but hilarious response.
It was great seeing that dude get taken down, along with the HuffPo author who defended him.
