It was actually daddy James Cromwell who ended up killing Paul McCrane. Still dumb.
Haha, that wasn't too subtle, looking back, though I do think it makes his eventual rescue of Teri all the sweeter.
It was both a blessing and a curse, because it really showed just how high the stakes were, but it also left the show with relatively little to do afterwards when so many of the best characters were taken out.
Oh, this is so great. Love Nolte as an actor, and he comes off pretty easygoing and affable here. Gotta love the casual way he seems to respond when hearing that he was in one of Will's favorite episodes of Emergency.
The fact that this is the first movie A24 has actually made and financed themselves (versus just distributing) means that they probably view this as their baby, so I imagine that it will be of the highest priority for them to get it out there (as they've done already). And the fact that Moonlight is sitting high at a…
I never really saw the 9th season as anything more than the spin-off show that Lawrence had originally intended it to be, so while it's not good, I've never really found anything particularly souring about it for that reason.
Olyphant coming out in a T-Shirt, shorts, and flip-flops and saying "The invitation said 'Dress Appropriately'" is so great.
Really? I find the direction to be one of its strongest elements, especially in episodes where it shuffles through time periods.
Garak and Dukat complaining to each other while fighting off the Klingons in the climax DS9 Season 4 opener has always made me happy.
WOO HOO. The best performance took it. Looks like getting rid of the ranked system really helped Anderson win. Passion wins out!
It's almost a shame that Paul Schneider seems to draw knee-jerk "Brendana-quits" jokes when his name pops up, because he can be a very interesting and peculiar presence in other outlets, as this, Bright Star, and The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford help show.
Actually one more. She lost both of the guest acting nominations on Saturday.
PARENTHOOD DAMN IT.
Personally, I think it helped with Sheen's transition that, much like with Jimmy Smits in NYPD Blue, they acknowledge just how weird and different it felt in-universe to have someone step into Fox's role, what with the Mayor constantly referring to him as "Mike".
That's the one aspect of Go On that bums me out. He was stellar on The Good Wife and I wished he had been able to recur more often. I was sad when he didn't get the Guest nomination for Season 3.
It was a nice show. Julie White was genuinely great on it, and I was curious to see them explore the flirtations between John Cho and Laura Benanti more as the show went on.
David Krumholtz is great, but I still get put on edge a bit whenever I remember his character from ER. Poor Carter and Lucy.
Oh, yes. Everything they do with Chandra in these last two episodes is immensely frustrating and unbelievable. I think my jaw dropped a bit when they had her and Naz kiss. Very much the nadir of the season.
The "I'm too busy to lecture" line heaped up on top of that made it all the more cutting.
