He's actually done fairly well in the Miniseries categories before. He won for The Corner way back in the early 2000s and got nominations for Generation Kill and Treme (when the latter was put in the Miniseries category for its shortened final season).

He's a regular at NPR and one of the co-hosts of the Pop Culture Happy Hour podcast. Really great guy with a sharp mind.

Why do people hate Dax Shepard so much? Is it just because of Punk'd and Without a Paddle? Because the guy was genuinely good on Parenthood and all the interviews I've seen him give seem to indicate that he's an affable guy who's grateful for everything he has in life.

The guy was pretty great on Parenthood. It's not hard to believe someone's a really good actor after they've spent years on a Jason Katims show.

Aww, no more reviews? That's a shame. I had just been getting back into the show, too. Understandable, since the comments on the CBB reviews were rarely too plentiful, but it's still a bummer.

A lot of really great nominees. Very happy with the love for Aya Cash and Samantha Bee love, as well as nominations for both Sarah Paulson and Courtney B. Vance in the Drama category.

Not really. Blame the people who haven't given her proper respect, not the few who have.

There was a time at a convention where LeVar Burton and Michael Dorn were asked about being representatives of minorities on television back then, which led to Frakes coyly asking "Which minority did Brent represent?" Spiner runs with the response as if Data were a black man and it eventually causes Burton and Dorn to

I thought he quit during the gas leak season.

I remember when the two of them played the same year at the Toronto Film Festival and were seen as maybe the two worst films there. That was uncomfortable to read.

Pretty much every time Sandler has done a role that was at all a stretch for him - whether or not the film was good or bad - the box office results have not been too great. Punch-Drunk Love, Spanglish, Reign Over Me, Funny People, The Cobbler and Men, Women & Children all failed to turn a profit (and in almost all

That really was a great Filmspotting episode, and I'm glad to see it highlighted. Knew it was going to be special with Sam coming back as a guest.

Andrew says it's really going to end up being a "We Loves Movies" episode.

Grodin and Cannon do so much with those characters. It's immensely funny. And Jack Warden was pretty much a perfect choice to step into the Corkle role.

So, I've seen the Here Comes Mr. Jordan and Heaven Can Wait, and I like them both well enough, but the endings have always bothered me.

I feel like Schwimmer's at a good place. Certainly never did anything that was as huge as friends, but the money from that has probably kept him comfortable and he's still managed to shine in some things, like Band of Brothers, People v. O.J. Simpson, and 30 Rock. Plus he seems like he's doing okay, if his recent talk

Even seeing him engage in conversations underlined in sadness and melancholy, like in The Spectacular Now are almost too much for me.

(Steve talks about the Cyclops brainwash scene in X2 and how it's kind of stupid.)
"So, you're admitting that one of your Top 30 movies of all time has a stupid scene in it?"
