yes, the kevin everett injury was horrible. as soon as the contact happened, you knew it was going to be very serious.

i witnessed malarchuk’s injury happen live (on tv) as a kid. i saw it happen in real time and  it was too surreal to fully understand. it was one of those moments where everything goes into slow motion. just, wow.
