Some fakers have gotten clever and started buying their own products to get the “verified purchase” designation on their reviews. Probably put those purchases right back in the for-sale bin too.

Hahah... Just because it’s a verified purchase doesn’t mean the reviews aren’t fake. Found one myself looking at an MP3 player which had about a dozen glowing reviews, ALL verified purchases. Also, all within the same few days, and in each case, EACH reviewer had never reviewed ANYTHING ESLE.
