If you're in the illinois/Chicago area you can get ahold of the Illinois Tenants Union [tenant.org] They're a non-profit that specializes in legally breaking a lease. There are a lot of landlords who are either ignorant of the law, or they think you are. I've broken two leases this way, and in both cases the landlords

One thing not mentioned here that makes it all the more curious and suspect, is that DID/MPD seems to be almost exclusively confined to North America. Psychiatric disorders don't really have geographical and cultural limitations.

Until I used a mac this past summer, I had no idea this was even an option.

I always found that "men think of sex every 7/8/5/2 seconds" thing to be ridiculous. I got tired of hearing it and when someone brought it up I was like "where's the study?" I got this blank look. I said that if it's a fact, if it's got numbers attached, where's the study that proves this? Blank stare. Then I

it's pre-installed on a lot of phones, that's probably what accounts for it's footprint. Fast is really determined by the typist familiarity/comfort with the keyboard, no design/layout is faster than another. I'm much better with tapping out words than sliding. I'd have to put lube on my screen to get it slick enough

Sadly that didn't work. On my EVO all the buttons are grayed out on the Market except "force stop" which I tried anyway, and yeah, nothing.

I've been using Google Music for a few months now. Only two features seem to be missing. the music store isn't in my android market on my Evo 4G or my Lenovo Thinkpad (yet) ——which we all know is the fault of sprint/HTC, and Lenovo, not necessarily Google. And the second is no lock-screen controls for the EVO.

absolutely, I don't get the obsession with the backstory. I don't need it. The actors may need it (depending on their method) but I don't. I'm not watching a show about who they used to be, I'm watching a show about who they are, now.

+1

"How is Starbuck randomly having sex with Apollo or Anders, as the episode demands, "character development"? How is Apollo bouncing around from one role to the next in season 3, "because we just plain couldn't decide what to do with him by this point", character development? "

I'm one of the happy people who loved BSG beginning to end. It wasn't until I read sites like io9.com that I encountered anyone who was even remotely disappointed with the end of BSG. I don't fault this site, I fault the internet and it's prime directive of being the 1st place people go to when they're irritated, and

that's what I'm wondering, too.

But that's what I'm saying. If you're using the unsecured WiFi at some coffee shop that anyone within the vicinity can use, aren't you vulnerable to all sorts fo data mining/stealing by other users on that network(if they have the tools and know how)

The obvious logic issue here is that God is all knowing, so he also knows who's going to be aborted, and being all powerful has every opportunity to stop it. So the question becomes, why is God letting all those abortions happen? Why is he allowing women he knows will abort the pregnancy to become pregnant in the

Someone correct me if I'm wrong here....but isn't using your carrier's data more secure than WiFi? Aren't you vulnerable to all sorts of sniffing, stealing, tracking from random no-goodnicks on any given open WiFi network?

I don't think it's "running away from the question" to admit that sometimes, there ISN'T an answer. As humans we crave simplification, and in that struggle to get everything into black and white, we ignore the reality of all the gray in the world.

isn't that passage referring to a very specific, big deal King, and not ALL people everywhere?

LOL, good point.

what if the question doesn't have an answer? Humanity tries quite often to fit a square universe into a round hole.

I need to check out Navy Federal, I already have a savings account my parents set up when I was a fetus, but I have yet to look into what they actually offer. It's going to take awhile to make this happen. I don't know how anyone can just up and move their bank account on one day.
