There are weight, power, and speed limits. Iirc the speed limits are usually around 30 mph. Because it is a quadracycle and not a car it does not have to meet all the safety regulations and standards applied to cars. It can be driven on the road, just like a motorcycle can despite not being a car.

Kim doesn’t need the Saudi billionaire, she is still wealthy and making money. It’s usually the broke celebrities running out of money that go for those.

If you have a problem with that then buy the regular Bolt.

One minute with NBC’s truly awful Peacock is enough to make most people realize The Office is not worth ditching Netflix.

I see them out on the road now and then here in Atlanta, although my commute takes me right past the main Porsche dealer in the area so half the time I think it’s test drives. The Taycan looks fantastic in person.

They’re not journalists, they’re bloggers. At least that is Jezebel’s standard (stupid) defense every time they have a stupid take.

Which unfortunately does not look as good.

If only we could have this, except around the size of a Golf.

No, you just forgot that Daimler sold that investment off in 2014.

I had zero idea that Sparks were only outfitted to seat four (at least in US) until right now.

The problem is there are not enough typical “LC buyers” around to justify keeping the model or just doing a simple update. And things like it’s high price tag coupled with terrible fuel economy (by even large SUV standards) and lack of tons of modern tech hold it back from attracting more buyers.

I don’t even want to imagine how awful the game would be to play on the Switch. I’ve played the PS4 version (it was a free game for PS+ earlier this year) and all it reinforced was how desperately this game needs a mouse and keyboard to enjoy it. I’m also not sure about making ludicrous amounts of money part either- I

Buying a $700 old POS that you will leave you stranded and constantly have to pour money into (that you will never get back) to use as a daily driver is a terrible way to teach that lesson. You are teaching them to throw good money away for bad.

It ends up being you who suffers because you are the one who has to go pick them up, or deal with the stranded car because they don’t know what to do, or have to shuttle them around because they no longer have a working vehicle.

You want your teen’s car to be reliable. This is not that car.

There are still a lot of old small Japanese pickups from the 80s/early 90s in California/the Southwest. They have some hipster cred (especially the Toyota Pickup) and it’s the one region where they haven’t completely rusted to dust yet.

Highest mileage car I ever had was a Jeep Cherokee (XJ) owned in my family since new with ~125k miles on it.

I love it but it would absolutely not sell here. This thing is about the size of a Yaris.

From my experience that is more commonly the Audi route, granted there are far Audis out on the road than Volvo.

As I said they have terrible quality and fit/finish issues, but that doesn’t mean they are overall shitty cars. Not every Tesla door is failing to close and not every Tesla roof is flying off.
