They [oddly] threw it in yesterday’s Morning Shift, and not even as the headline news in that post. You would think a car blog would make a dedicated post about the launch of a brand new car to get more clicks, but I guess I’m wrong.

Why are you surprised that receptionists at random hair salons are not wasting their time entertaining a random phone caller’s random questions about extensions at the RNC?

Jumping into the CALLUM prototype, the interior changes over the original iconic Aston Martin Vanquish are overwhelming. The whole cockpit has been completely redesigned so even the knackered old early-aughts shapes are all gone.”

On the Phantom, RR will place the “stars” in whatever pattern you like depending on how much money you are willing to give them. So if you want an accurate representation of the stars at point X time Y they will do so. I assume the same will be true for the Ghost.

The Phantom is ugly. Sorry. It has a lot of presence but it is an ugly ungainly car. The Ghost’s proportions have always been better.

I suspect it is off the 7 series platform so that then they don’t have to link the development cycles of the two cars and avoid being stuck in a situation where the RR is *gasp* on a old 7 series platform while the 7 series is on a newer platform, as is the current case. Now it’s with all the other RRs.

Sadly, that’s written better than half the articles on G/O Media sites nowadays.

You are missing that the S coupe starts about $40k more than the SL class. That’s not insignificant and that’s why the SL is the one being saved

Yes, it is no doubt the non famous people complaining the hardest. The people who would never “normally find themselves the subject of paparazzi scrutiny“ are obviously the ones who will get most annoyed by it. People like Ellen DeGeneres are used to paparazzi and while probably still annoyed would have a higher

black women are discriminated against for wearing cultural hairstyles like bantu knots and locs but white people are not, that’s not fair and that’s why people are pissed off.”

No, the transaction is not complete. Most car contracts are you pay $X for car Y. Not you apply for financing and you get car Y. They gave you car Y, but in this situation you did not ever give them $X.

That’s because Sony/Microsoft are moving to offering enhanced consoles with performance updates after couple years (see: PS4 Pro, Xbox One X) to get you to give them more money. In a couple years we will be talking about a PS5 Pro and a Xbox Series X “Project Scorpio”.

Kia has a new logo, it was shown off late last year/early this year. Unsure when it will start showing up on all their cars though.

Too early to know about the ditching of the KIA brand logos. I believe the photos are of the Korean model, which always had unique Stinger logos that the US model never used.

Maybe I am a bad person, but I am missing the Daily Mail transphobia in the Tyler Posey story.

The Insight/Prius are not sedan/coupe looking hatchbacks for styling or practicality reasons, but rather that is the most aerodynamic shape.

Doubtful. Usually PS Plus free games are the base game. You typically only get the DLC if a bundle where the DLC was included is the free game (eg Borderlands: The Handsome Collection) which is usually last gen games that were re-released for this gen.

I agree but like the OP I am constantly forgetting the new Defender is a thing available to purchase. When you are a smaller player like Land Rover you need heavy marketing for any chance of success (or just completely blow it out of the park, which the new Defender does not do). Especially as the Defender has not

Land Rover’s Defender marketing has also been atrocious, although the pandemic may be partially to blame.

I mean it will be still be a part of Europe even after a few more months. Just not the pan-European political/economic pact.
