Its lighter than other crossovers because it is smaller than most crossovers. That CX-3 mentioned earlier? That is a larger vehicle than the Cactus. Plus the Cactus gets rid of other niceties such as roll down rear windows.

They are not totally fixed, that is my mistake. They are pop outs like an old minivan. They still stuck.

I see the rear windows still look fixed. Surprise you didn’t go more depth into the size, everyone here on Jalopnik always seems to think that these are much larger than they actually are.

Agreed, but that is a international model only thing fortunately. The US tailgate also looks much better, it has a larger spoiler/lip at the top, and all of them are stamped with the “Ranger” (lower trim levels overseas are not, just the higher trims).

They don’t perform every single day. Its only a couple of times a month max with some months no performance. A quick google search shows, for example, that Lady Gaga is not performing at all at her residency from February 3rd to May 20th.

Yes, we all know the 2019 Ranger Raptor with is diesel engine will not be coming to the US. It will be coming a later date, with a gasoline engine.

No Jezebel needs to check a calendar. The Post never said Friday, October 18th, they just said Friday. The date is all Jez.

Ugh I hate them and I wish they would just go away.

Moving from the German rainbow to the Porsche rainbow will usually cost you though, because it is Porsche.

Yes, although it doesn’t come across well in FCA’s computer generation.

Missing the Mojito Wrangler:

Jez staff doesn’t always turn on them, it is usually the commentators. With some eventually a shiny new woman attracts Jez staff’s attention and they forget about their old obsession (i.e. Cardi B replaced Gal Gadot who replaced Leslie Jones).

Would be a lot nicer if it had some games pre-installed, but I’m guessing licensing issues make that a no go.

Actually I think its Kim Kardashian’s school. Lady Gaga’s entire look in that photo screams Kim K.

The 2nd gen Equinox was actually quite good and very competitive when it was first released. GM just let it wither on the vine for far too long though. It should have been replaced ~4 years ago, not last year.

GM has ruled the Suburban/Yukun/Escalade’s segment for decades now after basically creating it (first mover advantage!) with little formidable competition, resulting in a positive association for those vehicles from people interested in that segment.

No, that is a (very popular) fan made rendering that everyone wishes the Bronco will look like but will ultimately lead to disappointment when the final product looks nothing like what fans have hyped up in their head.

The “baby Bronco” designed to compete against the Renegade will be a FWD/AWD crossover. The main Bronco has been confirmed over and over again by Ford as being on the Ranger platform. It is part of how they are making the Ranger business case work in the US.

$100k for a 300 SRT is in fact batshit. Which is why it is not US$100k. NZ$100k = ~US$64.5k, which is far more reasonable.
