Just look it up on youtube if you’re curious. Plenty of videos of planes dumping fueling.

Yes, some planes (not all, and often times it is an option) can dump fuel. It is more common on larger aircraft though. And no, before anyone asks, that does not mean gallons of liquid fuel suddenly drops on the ground below. The fuel vaporizes so it is just a trail of white vapor behind the plane (not to be confused…
Well that is your dealer. Some dealers (especially Kia and Nissan dealers) always put a markup on all vehicles for things like “nitrogen, paint protection, several years free oil change”, etc, but they are usually the same price for every car (of the same model). Which is why I said if you see that just go to a…
Yeah you won’t get markups, but keep in mind Wranglers are strong sellers so you are unlikely to get significant discounts. But they do hold their value extremely well.
I’m not saying the dealer model is superior, but you are living in a dream world if you think pricing shenanigans would stop if a direct sales model was used. Automakers have the same goals as dealers- to make as much money as possible. Remember automakers already offer different incentives to different regions. You…
JL Wranglers have been in production for months now, plenty are on dealer lots, and it is not a limited production vehicle. If you are seeing markups on standard JL’s then you need to go to a different dealer.
Lets be honest, the automakers would do the same thing if selling direct. They will inflate the price (remember who sets the MSRP) then offer sales/coupons etc to make you feel like you are getting a great deal. Have you been to stores like Bed, Bath, & Beyond, JC Penney, Kohls, etc? That is their entire business…
At the time of Toyota’s update (2015) only the driver’s side was being tested. The IIHS didn’t start rating passenger side until last year. Honda designed the Odyssey knowing that both sides would be tested.
Eh, as long as it is between shows and not during the show I don’t care. Half the time I have to pause it then for a bathroom/snack/whatever break anyways.
Newest car does best on test, oldest car does worst. More news at 11.
I can’t top staring at Joe Jonas in that picture, that is not a good photo of him to say the least (granted Nick Jonas is the only Jonas mildly attractive).
Power doesn’t get from the engine at the front of the car to the wheels at the rear by magic.
The mythical Jalopnik will find a nitpick to justify not actually purchasing the vehicle they claim they want to seem cool, but in reality don’t. (“I looked at the Colorado but the gold of the Chevy bow tie does not match the exterior color of my apartment building. Also it only has 31” of rear legroom and I require…
Hopefully that opening back window thing is just a mistake with the B&P system (they are not always 100% correct, especially FCA’s) and you can get an XLT with a sliding rear window but not the 302A package because I agree that it is stupid.
RWD vehicles are more complicated and expensive than FWD vehicles. On top of that the Ranger has to be able to withstand frequent towing and hauling heavy loads. That is also expensive.
The 2nd gen Durango is a squircle car. They couldn’t quite decide if they wanted rounded or hard edge, so they created this abomination.
I think that is a typo and he meant it will come with a 5' bed standard, 6' standard would be unusual. The Tacoma and the GM twins have optional 6' beds in the crew cab configuration btw. Obviously rarer, but they are out there.
Chevy (and Ford, and Ram) have always done that. Fleets want cheap to replace. I can’t figure out if they are halogen or LED though. They look like cheap halogens but the light output looks like LEDs in the few photos Chevy has of them on though.
Agreed. At first I was meh about the new Ram exterior but it looks much better in the flesh. And the interior is far and away best in class in terms of initial looks and feel, even those without the 12" screen (who knows about long term quality though, it is FCA).
Yeah, they do give the front end a Nixon jowls look.
