What I want to know is, are you planning to review the car on its own merits, or just use the space to complain about how it’s a stupid idea because nobody needs AWD anyway?

Yeah, rocker panel rust is a thing. The body kit would cover that up.

I like both wagons and minivans a lot, but they are different machines that serve different purposes.

For an NB? Even in this market, I don’t think so.

It would be a nice price without the body kit. For what it’s worth though, my ‘96 (which is mechanically very similar to this car) has about this many miles and the original clutch is still fine—suggesting that this car may have been driven a bit harder. The timing belt is usually good for about 100,000 miles or so,

Transits absolutely dominate the commercial van market here in the US. We’ve got the Express, Sprinter, Promaster, and Transit. I probably see more Transits than all the others put together, except maybe the Express which has been around since the Cambrian Period and therefore had a bit of a head start. I guess they

Srarred for “de mangustibus.”

hahahahhahahahahahhaohmy

Is this some kind of QAnon thing or what?

Weight != mass, in other words

You ain’t wrong, although it sounds like firefighters are starting to figure out how to deal with lithium battery fires. (Hit it with a shitload of water until the batteries are cold again, basically—or else the hot batteries will restart the fire.) I’m 100% sure you’re right that both the products and the regulations

I saw this happen recently. Guy said it wasn’t even the first time he’d done it. He shot the shit with the two people at the pumps nearest him for a couple of minutes (all three of them happened to be one kind of service tech or another) and then just drove off without alerting anyone inside. Nobody came out, either.

I’ve always sorta figured that if my car was on fire, a gas station might be the safest place to stop. After all, those awnings are just chock full of nope-foam set to drench anything that acts like it wants to burn the place down.

I’m no fan of the police but this is a dumb take, even after the correction for the very large, obvious, and premise-changing error which was inserted way down at the bottom of the article well after a significant conversation predicated by said error had already occurred.

What the hell is wrong with standing out a bit, is what I want to know.

I actually kinda like it. You’d definitely be the only one in town to have one. I even like the smoked headlights, God help me. But with 180,000 miles on it? Well, I’m glad the previous owner enjoyed the car, but I’m not gonna pay that kind of money for it.

Toyota is a dick company, and for an automaker that’s saying a lot. Anti-union, anti-environment, and anti-democracy. Fuck Toyota.

Fun isn’t fashionable anymore. We’re all about proto-fascist aggression now. Everything is angry, dark, and monochrome. It fucking sucks and I hate it.

I’d guess because of some combination of there not being enough bad accidents for it to be seen as a major problem, and corporations not wanting to have to deal with more stringent licensing requirements for their drivers. For what it’s worth, after you’ve backed a box truck into a driveway a few hundred times you do

They could also do a hatchback version… but they won’t, will they? Of course not. Because they are stupid and hate money, I guess.
