I'm confused how its a gears of war clone. Gears of war invented big guns? Or did gears of war invent cover? Perhaps they were the only people to put those original concepts together?

At first I thought "putricide" said "patricide". Which come to think of it, makes more sense.

Damn 15 gigabytes?

I'm just pointing out that X-box live has 19 million users.

@PeaceFrog: @PeaceFrog: By lack of guns I meant "lack of gun selection", or lack of the sheerly huge amount of weapons tradionally found in RPGs.

I'll be pirating their games from now on because I can't ensure 24/7 internet access. Even if I buy them.

@Ueziel: Their are more complex moral choices. See, now your just debating semantics.

@zlarm: Exactly, your choices effect so many things in the game its not even funny, including the development of every character on your ship, whether or not the krogan have a hope at curing genophage, and I'm only 1/3 of the way through the game.

@Ueziel: You've ranted on and on and still have not about it without a logical reason. How do you suggest Bioware increase make exploring 50 planets on food interesting from a reasonable design standpoint? You simply CANNOT.

@dragon83: No, Mass Effect is an action RPG, replacing turn based combat with a live action gun play one. Argueing ME isn't a RPG because of lack of guns is like argueing witcher is like god of war because of lack of swords.

lol. I just realized I'm acting like a huge fucking fanboy in my (rightful) defending of this game. Normally I don't even do this.

@Razgriz: lol. Despite how much I enjoy bioware RPG, I can never bring myself to play them more then once.

@Bennal: A bit of a spoiler, but you can unlock different appearances for them.

@Komrade Kayce: a hell lot of decision, including random sidequest and dialogue you thought didn't matter.

If you never liked ME1 as a RPG, I could see why you'd have trouble liking ME2, but I don't understand how anyone could argue that ME2 is a step back from ME1 in anyway way shape or form, even from a RP perspective :/

@Ueziel: "And I also do not see any sort of balance issue with allowing me to change my tactics as befits my surroundings."
