I’m with you - House of M was the rare great event in that period, most of them sucked.

That was all pre-HboMAX though. I think those might end up being some of the last of the traditionally good HBO shows, and going forward we’ll have a lot more shows chosen for quick, broad appeal vs the quality of the content.

Well, SPOILERS but, it’s kind of the latter. Even though we don’t learn his name, he turns out to be much more than an empty suit.

Sure I love mushrooms on a pizza, but that middle just looks like a watery, soggy, uncooked mess. Also the distribution is ridiculous - why pile five pounds of mushrooms in the middle, and almost none on the sides?

Yeah only number 2 looks correct, and even there, the cheese distribution is garbage. those crust pices are cheese deserts.

Quality knives and a sharpener. I’m cheap but I like good stuff. So I have a bunch of Victorinox, as well as a sharpmaker. I leave the sharpmaker set up and use it mostly as a glorified honing tool before using the knives. Everything stays sharp and my cutting is very enjoyable.
