You could cut the iceland singers and get an hour back right there.

Think of it as a movie that ends at 3:40, that’s even better.

Yeah, but not that many movies are Movies. I could count on my fingers the number of movies I’ve seen in the past decade that were that tightly constructed, and none of them were tentpole scifi pop movies like this. Justice League had plenty of moments that were good for pausing, reading my phone, etc.

The sad thing is if you remove a few specific teases for the sequels (retelling of the BvS dream, Darkseid’s Thanos’s “I’ll do it myself”, and the insane addition of the Knightmare epilogue sequence which felt 100% like a pitch reel to test the waters), this was a strong movie that improved on the previous version and

Dude, come on:

Driving me nuts to watch that

Downside is you need a Chromebook. Put that shit into desktop Chrome, or even the MFW interface, and you have my attention.

I’m with you - House of M was the rare great event in that period, most of them sucked.

That was all pre-HboMAX though. I think those might end up being some of the last of the traditionally good HBO shows, and going forward we’ll have a lot more shows chosen for quick, broad appeal vs the quality of the content.

That’s a good observation. Because until that Frankenstein scene, I think Agatha had been the only town character to break the fourth wall; now that Herb did I’m not sure what to make of him.

The suggestion above of Blue Marvel is also a good one.

That’s what I’m hoping too - that it’s the Peter from the X-Men universe or a similar one, and just temporarily being controlled by someone or something.

At least once I believe.

People keep saying Reed Richards, but calling him an “aerospace engineer” is a massive understatement, so I’m hoping it’s somebody else.

Yeah but I think the question is, how is the show implying they got them in this universe?

Well, a couple ways:

1 - the majority of their story is in Infinity War, so if nothing else rewatch or read about that.
