I genuinely wish we held this much contempt for sequel trailers, or trailers for IP-based films. I’m not saying this looks good. I just notice a lot of writers are more willing to cheese on original films and then wonder why we keep getting sequels and IP-based films.

As someone who hasn’t watched any of this documentary series, it sounds more like a hit piece on Dan Schneider and that era of Nickelodeon than an actual investigation into adult misconduct with underage actors. I mean, the other name I keep seeing thrown about, Brian Peck, was arrested and legitimately got punished.…

I know folks love Jon Stewart, but he dedicates more of his monologue to jokes than Seth Meyers dedicates to A Closer Look and John Oliver dedicates to Last Week Tonight’s main topics. And the jokes meander.

The brand (and yes, their algorithm and already-collected data) are worth WAY too much for it to just shrug and give up at this point.

I see a shit ton of information about the conflict on Instagram/Threads. All pro-Palestinian. It’s almost as if the content on an app depends on how much of the userbase is sharing that information as well as who you follow.

Once again, there’s nothing truly learned when Helldivers 2 has exactly the same mechanics in place to pivot to something more predatory at the flip of a switch! Just because it’s pro-consumer now doesn’t mean it has to stay that way in six months.

The game is already starting to lose players (as naturally starts to happen after a few weeks) and already wars are being lost? Am I missing something, or does this game have terrible balancing? Or was this scripted to happen?
