I am sympathetic to the arguments against impeachment but it “playing into Trump’s hands” is not one of them. Trump’s base will be mobilized no matter what. 

He really does.  I don’t hate him like a lot of people here.  I actually quite like Biden.  But if you go back, and compare his performance at these two debates to his debate against Ryan in 2012, he’s a totally different person.  He doesn’t have it anymore.

If a moderate gets the nomination, oh well, I’ll live with it. But Biden terrifies me. He almost seems addled. Awkwardly so. I actually feel bad watching him.

All I have to say right now is, frankly, it’s amazing to me that WYTS 2019 has been going on for over a week now and still hasn’t gotten to Cleveland

He’s not holding out, but Nick Foles has the most leverage in the NFL. Simple machines, man.
