True, but the general consensus from regular people, was extremely high. I think that this was another perfect example of game reviewers not having an ideal experience, by playing it way too quickly. That, and a collective “I feel like other sites will say that this game is good, but not incredible”, so they downplay

Yeah, it’s like they got someone to review the expansion to a game that they barely enjoyed, while most people seemed to love it.

I can’t really blame Respawn for not putting a lot of resources into a game from 2014, with a tiny playerbase. These people are just babies.

The difference being that most of Sony’s 1st party games actually wouldn’t exist without them. Microsoft’s new strategy isn’t to make new games, its to just buy companies that already are.

Then how would you explain the Switch selling like hotcakes?

“The only reason that Nintendo and Sony have a space in the gaming market is due to Japan being fiercely loyal to the companies and their products”

Where are you seeing any loot based gameplay? This looks like a story driven, action game with some ranged combat. I’m sure that there will be loot, but I don’t see anything that suggests abilities won’t be based on some sort of skill tree.

I really REALLY hope that there is PC support this time around. If the price / functionality is a good balance, this could really bridge the VR gap between platforms. Having the option to buy a solid VR system that works on PS5 and PC, would certainly be good for everyone involved.

See, thats actually what I’m confused about. Some games, like FFXV, updated their game to run better for the PS5, while still being the PS4 version of the game. So I’m not sure why it isn’t possible for other games to do the same.

My point though, as that over time, you become more dependent of having the subscription if you like to play your backlog. And if you’re subscribing to Game Pass because of a few games, then it may not be worth it for the consumer to subscribe. Yet, many people will still need to diversify what hardware they own just

I hear you, but this is more than a pay or not kind of situation. Many people might choose one platform over another, because of the services available on them. While yes, they need to increase quality as they increase price, what determines value is different from gamer to gamer. For example, as a multiplatform user

I agree. While Gamepass as it is currently is a great deal, overtime I worry that it will be the ONLY viable deal. While Microsoft has backed out on doubling the price for now, as they pick up more and more, its inevitable that they continue to increase it. While they say that they don’t need to sell multiplatform to

I agree with  your latter statement, but the former seems to be the opposite. Sony pumps out very good first-party games, while Microsoft has continued to lag behind last gen. Perhaps they’ve learned their lesson, but over the One/PS4 generation, Microsoft bought a ton of studios, released few ‘must-have’ titles, and

BotW2 is a HUGE console seller. Especially if the Super Switch version has large upgrade compared to the regular version.

Kind of ironic, given that their combat system is wholly unoriginal.

Sorry, but do you genuinely think that this is closely related to, or even at all related to Crucible?

Honestly, fuck this title. This game (despite my love of it) is super buggy and problematic. There is NO shortage of shit to rag on this game about. But this title purposely tries to sound like a natural feature (low settings) is totally awful, which is not the case. This site used to be for actual journalism, and it

True, but the overall development philosophy and ideals of the console would absolutely prioritize certain aspects over others. Individual aspects of a console aren’t created in a vacuum

PS3 yes, but PS4 you are absolutely wrong about. Also holds no relevance here. Developers are not griping about a lack 1440p, random reddit users are (which makes sense). 120 4K has been a problem in what sense? According to who? It supports HDMI 2.1. Garbage post dude.

That’s for a backwards compatible game, not a next gen version. Shouldn’t be an issue for any upcoming games.
