Can we just drop tipping and make restaurant owners pay their employees a living wage? Build it into the price of the menu items. When people no longer show up because their Olive Garden meal costs too much then we can adjust or eat at home. Tipping that is expected is a ridiculous model.

See, I had to adjust to Fargo after seeing Hudsucker Proxy. The goofier Coen movies are much more my speed, and I love them right away. The violent, serious movies have to sit a bit.

You don’t need to see the other two to follow the (nonsensical) plot, but they are a must if you want to feel underwhelmed.

We have three choices: We can say we believe his accusers and then ask him to resign. We can say his accusers are lying and ignore them. We can say we believe his accusers but his good work outweighs his wrongs.

I honestly believe this is the right decision. Yeah, he’s probably being railroaded to some degree, and yeah, there are far worse accusations against other senators and (sadly) soon-to-be-senators, and of course, the fucking president. But Democrats need to be on the right side of history here, and if that means…

I hate that Terry Crews had to endure this, but I love that his account takes all the water out of so many arguments against harassment/abuse accusers. If he would suffer in silence and humiliation, then anyone would given the right circumstances. He’s done the world a service by coming forward.
