I agree that the rechargeable battery pack should come in the controller when you buy it, but I will say I’m so glad that Microsoft kept the battery slot because I forget to plug the controller in all the time (I have a battery pack) and it’s great when I do to be able to pop in a set of AAs and keep the game going.…
