@TopLevelExecutive: What was she supposed to do? Just start walking around her neighbourhood with Louis in his stroller and waiting for the paparazzi to pick up on the story? Would that have been preferable? Celebrity babies are big news no matter the time or the method communicating their existence. Might as well

@tiny_danza: Aw, thanks! I have some major papers to write, so it makes complete sense that I'm hanging out her again. Also, Tumblr is slow today.

@SarahMC: Right? How amazing that we see this reflected in society, with all those single fathers who are raising the children their mothers couldn't care for and all of them paying enough child support (and on time, too), and sharing domestic stuff with their partners and taking an equal part in child care and making

"They were going in there to kill babies, and we were stopping that. So I think the whole case should just be dismissed right now."

@keldo: I mean she was 41 when she started the process.

I'm honestly surprised at the cynicism that is reigning supreme in these comments. Really? You find it easier to believe that Bullock 'bought' a baby somewhere in the last couple of months than that a 41-year old woman with a known desire for children decided to start the adoption process, and after four years emerges

@LoveNoelG: That's true. I just feel like you can't help but believe it, because the alternative is that she went out and somehow bought a baby last week and then called People and was like "lalala, I've had this child for three whole months" and somehow that was more believable than the story we see before us now.

@Sleuthy Sleuthstein: You think she started an adoption process for years ago and brought a child home in JANUARY as a preemptive strike against the news of her husband's cheating?

@Devonna: How is that "suspect"?

"sending themselves flowers from a "fake admirer."

"Jane Austen intensely dislikes these people."

@itsonreserve: Cause I'm so immersed in British English, all that I see in that word is "mum." And, yeech...

The real question here is, does Mary toast her Pop-Tarts?

@winner: "picking?" As in, I'm picking on you, I'm picking and choosing"? What? You didn't cloak your phrasing in your understanding of worldwide legal systems, now did you? Also, excuse me for not trusting the personal opinion of an anonymous person on the internet. I'm sure if I called my friend who's working for

I think it's my school's policy to send out a student body-wide email when a rape is reported. I know that I got an email a couple of months ago (and later an apology about some of the phrasing in said email and the fact that it was sent at all, requested by feminist and human rights groups on campus). Yet, there's

@winner: "the rest of the world?" Really? Italy represents "the rest of the world" to you? That implies a pretty limited world view.

@edna electro: I own a kitchen knife that is larger than what is allowed in my dorm. I bet that if I were arrested for a murder (committed with a knife), they'd dig up the line in my contract that mentions the size of knife that is allowed and charge me with unlawful possession of a knife, too. And I'm in the US.

Brooke's trying for flapper. I did it so much better though - and I spent about $9 on the whole outfit.

I'm totally the ear of corn. It seems the only interesting thing to be.

I try to limit myself to a bottle per week. Coke Zero. Not Diet. That's totally fine, right?
