Don’t pull out that BS charity line. This is a Billion dollar industry, the EAs and Activisions aren’t struggling to keep the lights on, they aren’t struggling to pay their employees. They don’t need to monetize every little goddamn thing and actively seek to screw their players over to make an extra buck.

I said this in response to the last article about this game, but, coming from the absolute biggest thatgamecompany fan around, I just can’t help but shake the small tinge of disappointment that seems to accompany every bit of new information we get about this game.

Good. We need to keep pushing back against this bullshit. We can stop the game industry become this cesspit of shady gambling tactics and micro transactions if we actually try. We need to apply more pressure or they’ll keep pushing the limits of what they can get away with.
