I didn’t think they were updating the core mechanics of RBY...so why are they using a generation 2-5 type weakness chart to compare generation 1 pokemon?

The developers have it right in my opinion. The starter type is only really important in the early gyms since you will progressively get more alternative pokemon to

Doh! Not sure how I missed those. Pokemon on the NDS got pretty wild. On top of the main games there were the 7 mystery dungeon games, and 3 ranger games, and several other spin offs. It was pokemadness.

It wouldn’t be too strange when you look at their release history...

GB: R/B/Y, G/S/C
GBA: R/S/E, LG/FR
DS: D/P/P, B/W, B2/W2
3DS: X/Y, OR/AS, S/M

While there isn’t an obvious pattern, they’ve definitely released multiple generations of pokemon on a single console. Even if you look at the timing, G/S/C came out just over a

Awesome, though I am kind of bummed we’re apparently not getting a Pokémon Z. Sorry, Zygarde.

I don’t know man did you watch the whole video? I think in this case we’re dealing with a genuinely awkward and cringe worthy video regardless of what decade it came from.

There were a few times when I wondered if somehow the audio from the audience wasn’t being picked up, but then at other times you can hear them

I feel really uncomfortable watching this.

I don’t think it’s fair to treat fans like a hive mind or anything, there may always be a perceived popular opinion, either good or bad, but you will always have people on both sides. Generally those who disagree with the perceived opinion will end up be the loudest, shifting the balance back and forth until the dust

The Wii was the first system I ever got at launch, I was so hyped about it there was no question about whether or not I was getting LoZ:TP for it. While it’s hard to regret an otherwise sound decision in it’s time, I do still wish I had the gamecube version instead.

What a beautiful scene....I don’t know what to fixate on more...the flight of Fett or the whiff of the foot.

What the fuck did you call me?

That looks neat, but I’m not sure how it is relevant =\

I’m glad you mentioned the similar games. Compare this image from Power Drive to the one at the top of this article and they are almost painfully similar

I thought it was decent...but even at the low price it just kind of left me wishing there was more. It would make a nice demo for a more robust final game.

I'm having my own little supply and demand crisis with the amount of stars I want to give this post. Cherish this star, for it is all that I have to give.

I don’t know how you manage to get into game development without ever realizing how insanely competitive and oversaturated the market is. This is coming from someone who made the mistake of going to school for game programming. To the consumer, it has nothing to do with whether the price matches the cost of the game,

To be fair, it’s not an ad, it’s cross posted on Kotaku intermingled among their regular posts. The shared indicator is small, light grey text above what looks like any other post. I’ll be honest, while I thought this was funny and I hate Trump as much as the next guy...I think there is something to be said about

HOly shit. Peggle 2?!

That would be a workable solution if you never plan to use the parts to create anything else.

That’s what I do. Let go of the boxes...keep the instructions and break down the sets into boxes after displaying them for a short time. I’d like to organize my parts to some degree one day, but I don’t see that happening any time soon.
