I get what you are saying (about watching a professional play rather than playing yourself) but that analogy has a pretty big flaw. Obviously you can’t simply play football any time you want considering it requires a fair number of people to play. Video games on the other hand don’t have this issue.

I feel like he had some reasonable points. There are only a few rare occasions where it is fun to watch someone play games. Either they are doing something I can’t do myself (ie.
