I think readily available local multiplayer would be the biggest reason for me. Sure a LAN party would be fun, but its nice to be able to just sit on the couch with a buddy and go online together without having to haul a rig over. Betrayal at the House on Haunted Hill is so much fun...definitely a lot of replay value too. I'd throw in Werewolf as well. Weather you play with homemade cards or buy Werewolf Ultimate, its a fun simple game that works for a large variety of group sizes.
