Setting each season in its own decade is an awesome idea.

The whole business feels so forced to me. So far this civil war is as dumb and pointless as the previous one. They’re making the characters go to extremes just for the sake of it. Neither captain marvel, nor Iron man are so blind that they cannot reach an agreement. It’s possible to find an easy middle ground where

Amem to that! I’ve never got what DC expected with Cyborg in the JLA. It’s not believable even in universe: Nightwing would be a much more realistic pick if the JLA want to promote someone from the Titans... As for the African American representation, with John Stewart you solve that while still keeping a GL in the

I really, really miss Martian Manhunter (who brought an actual alien perspective, having spent most of his life living off Earth instead of growing up here). But Warner Brothers decided that people who like their IP were lame or sad or whatever, so we got to watch Superman watching people die.

Someone’s gotta maintain the JL’s social media accounts.

Dude Suicide Squad had a black lead along side the most diverse group of heroes seen in a superhero movie. That was only their third movie. DC is kicking ass in that respect.

Marvel has gotten to Black Panther... after three Iron Man, three Captain America, Ant-man, Hulk, two Thor and two Avengers movies.

And LEGO Dimensions has its first failure. Thanks, TT, for not only releasing an exclusive (which sucks - the idea of exclusives, not Supergirl), but releasing a powerful female figure that young female Dimensions players won’t be able to play unless they are PS4 and have Daddy/Mommy-moneypants.

Yeah this was my beef with Enterprise as well. Now they are saying that the new show will be set between Enterprise and TOS. So the new show will have to watch out for continuity issues from stuff that happened both before and after itself. The new series is starting to sound more and more D.O.A. everyday.

Completely agree, and that’s why I’m not as excited as I would like to be about Star Trek: Discovery.

Well said. It’s so ironic how a franchise so manifestly about the future has been trapped in its own past since 2002. It boggles the mind, really. For the life of me I can't comprehend what makes the powers that be so eager to retread what's long gone. All it does is create continuity issues. I just can't wrap my head

everything can be explained away using just one DC villain:

That’s why. Look at Kara’s face and reaction to ice cream and asking about donuts. Look at it! DOES THAT NOT MAKE YOU INCREDIBLY HAPPY?!

Why is it so hard for Warner Bros to figure out how to do the DC Expanded Universe? They’ve got the living breathing, ice cream loving, example of how to do it right in front of them.

It better have the Music Meister played by Neal Patrick Harris in it.

there is a secret conspiracy to destroy DC’s live-action movies, and I have been a part of it

I finally said, “fuck this,” back during Dark of the Moon. I just couldn’t take it any more. I would kill for one, just one, Transformers movie where the robots are distinct looking and have actual personalities.

The designs in this series are almost as bad as everything else about this series.

That’s Megatron? I thought it was Barricade, or maybe Ironhide, or Starscream? It kind of looks like Soundwave a bit, or maybe Hot Rod? Oh wait, they ALL look like a junkyard exploded.
