I’m still sure these are characters inside the game. They all look like stereotypical explorers - including a tourist that doesn’t want to be there, a daring adventurer, a Tomb Raider and a scientist that collects tropical specimen. They fit nicely with the hunter cliché that was Van Pelt in the original movie.…

I’m reading the biography of Otto Binder right now (he wrote for Captain Marvel and created characters like Mary Marvel, Supergirl, Brainiac, etc) and I really want a Mad Men style television show about the Golden Age of Comics. It would be super fascinating.
