As much as I love Metroidvanias, I’d absolutely love to see something more like SC4, Bloodlines and Rondo of Blood. We’ve really not had a proper one since maybe Legends on the Gameboy! Whereas Metroidvanias we’ve had 3 on GBA, 3 DS and that so so one on 3DS.

It definitely wasn’t like this at all! I finished it twice on Gamecube then again on PC and I guess in the future in this World they don’t shoehorn “adult” language in every minute they can. Lets just hope the game is at least what it should be and worthy of the name. Ancel seemed quite emotional to finally have it…

Mario has been a part of a lot of shit, there are several Mario Party games that are a testament to this.

Reminds me of the excellent GBC/GBA versions of Mario Golf and Mario Tennis. They were fantastic sports games crossed with RPG from Camelot. Sadly Camelot’s handheld versions of these now just follow the same formula of the console ones...and are kinda meh of late.

Conker was the only 3D platformer i liked of theirs but now...shit irs packed with horrible filler. Great humour but a pain to play.
