Yeah DKC for me was just “pretty but meh” and now looks dated compared to regular sprite SNES games (Yoshis Island is still beautiful). People say the sequels were better but i didnt see that. I cant say I hold the Rare games in high esteem, I just wasnt into their level design.

I only see this as a rumour. As we saw with the NES Classic, Nintendo doesnt care about making shitloads of cash. If they did that thing would be produced more and pushed properly. It was purely only released as a stopgap and to promote their name before the Switch hit.

There must be another version of the Switch planned and I’ve already regretted being there for launches of GBA, DS and 3DS. They all had very noticable flaws and the Switch just has so many more. I’ve not seen the Wii U version in any of the shops over here. Nintendo’s presence is pretty much 3DS taking up the most space then Switch, then the Wii used section taking a decent enough amount of space then half a shelf of Wii U games...

Watching the Nintendo Switch presentation is like watching an ex girlfriend who has so much potential but is totally making the same fucking mistakes over and over and you just want to shake them and tell them to stop.

Ive always wanted a handheld/console since the Ganecube flopped. Seemed like the solution to Nintendos lack of 3rd party titles 2 years into a consoles life. One platform, more Nintendo games.
