I Just want low loading times and anti-aliasing.

We’ll hack it.

Well my daughter has already pretended to do a Ashens style Poundland tat video and also Jontron style Wii U game review vid...

For me the first 2 Paper Mario games and Mario & Luigi 1 and 3 outshine it substantially. Its ok and all be never had the charm required.

If it was a platforner rather than a “press one direction and occasionally jump now and again”. The first four Mega Drive titles along with Sonic CD had more to them than just running fast.

If you have the Amiibo then the Wii U version is the way to go plus I’ve seen the physical release for less than the eShop one if you care about owning a game forever.

You know what I’m looking forward to about this game? Starting it and not having to deal with the crap at the beginning. Just getting on with the adventure without someone talking at you, walking you about and doing some tedious tutorial. It’s back to basics for the series.

There’s going to be a story in there, its just up to you if you wish to bother with it. This is what’s exciting me about the game. I love Wind Waker but there’s parts I’d love to just go straight to from time to time and this non traditional approach of going where you want is something I’ve wwanred for a long time.

I’m kinda positive on Nintendo next year. Sounds like they’ve really knuckled down and have a lot of cool stuff coming. If the NX is one platform but on handheld and a home console then that’ll make things easier. They could really ramp up the software library if they didn’t have to choose which games go where.

Ultimate Spider-Man was great and Shattered Dimensions had its moments.

Kirbyis such a unsung hero for Nintendo. I find the quality of the games to be highly consistent compared to other franchises. They even have some fantastic ideas for games though many of those (Mass Attack, Epic Yarn) could easily be new IPs

I guess people expect more of DC, while the big heroes like Supes and Bats have killed even in the comics, we hold them up to higher expectations. These are the guys who kick started it and should be better than taking the easy way out.

And here’s me sat here with real problems just getting on with my life.

Two (or three if you add the superior NMH2) of the many games that showed how underappeciated the Wii game library truly is. Sure the likes of its Tenchu game was killed by forced motion controls but others like Red Steel 2 and Little Kings Story showed what works.

Metroid. First 20 minutes is action packed, Samus is after her bounty...gets it but something bad happens, bounty escapes and somehow gets stranded on a planet with no intelligent life, has an absolute shit time surviving. Slowly gets some things she needs to get off planet, bumps into bounty...shit goes down she

Aren’t their enough broken, unfinished games on there already?

Not forgetting Commander Keen as well which was quite a shareware hit.

We’re ID obscure when Doom came out? I mean I knew them before for Commander Keen, Wolfenstein 3D and Catacombs 3D and people were eager to see what they did next.

More people would play it rather than the last few. It probably still holds up though to me I enjoyed the first 2 more and still do.

It’s a sign that Nintendo is 100% done with the Wii U and is just putting out titles like Animal Crossing Party (or whatever), Mario Bare Bones Tennis and Paper Mario: Will This Do...It’s HD! While keeping its core teams like Retro, Hal, Feel Good and all the in house ones working on NX games while Monster and Next
