This game made me wish there was some kind of mind wipe device, so I could go back to the end of that dark tunnel, and experience it all for the first time again. Read more

The only fail is the origin of his abilities. Wolverine/Hugh Jackman is referenced multiple times for comedic effect, but not once is it implied that deadpool got his abilities from Wolverine’s own healing factor. Read more

I completely agree, down to everything you said about the villains and the story itself. I thought Ryan Reynolds was fantastic, and I loved Colossus as well as NTW. I thought all three were a lot of fun. I was a little underwhelmed by the action and the villains, but I know they had their budget cut, so I cut it a bit Read more

Only two articles, but dude, I am definitely following. Great stuff! I was on the fence about The Division, but I’m sold (Though still cautiously optimistic)

I’ve heard it’s a pretty hefty time investment, which is really the only reason I haven’t started yet. But I have no big games coming soon, so as soon as I’m done with a few new indies, I’m on it. It’ll probably take me a month or more though, since I work full time and live with a non-gamer GF lol

The thing I appreciate about Okami (apart from the gorgeous art, innovative gameplay, engaging story and characters etc etc) is that it wasn’t afraid to shake up its own formula. I’ve always associated it a lot with the Zelda games (open world, combat and puzzle oriented, progression limited by item and ability) and Read more

Great post. This just convinced me to line up Okami as my next game - I bought the ps3 remaster on a sale and it’s been sitting atop my shame pile for months.

Okami is easily in my top 3 favorite RPGs of all time. It’s gorgeous, the music is wonderful, and drawing inspiration from classic Japanese folklore makes for some really compelling and imaginative settings and characters. If there was a way to go back and experience a game for the first time again, I would choose Read more

people who say this game drags on, clearly are giving the recent Zelda games alot of slack. This is by far the best Zelda game ever since Wind Waker.

Okami is a great game and it’s also beautiful. Clover Studio had so much potential in making innovative games.

I saw Luke use it a few nights ago but I was all... hrrrm.. that seems like a lot of work to use the header things. Then I saw Barely use it on his. Then You. And then myself, and then I was...

Uh the UI in the Division is basically WatchDogs + the new Tomb Raider (with some hints of the Dirt menu system), it is not new exactly, but still pretty!

Great write -up. I played the Beta all weekend too and as a mostly solo player, I loved the gestures. I have to admit I am worried about the solo experience but there seems to be lots of matchmaking options (eg: Free roam, dark zone, missions, etc)
