@ph15h: MythTV is the best PVR there is the problem is thats about it. The plugins aren't as good as XBMC. Although someone is working on a mythtv plugin for XBMC so hopefully that will combine the great aspects of both.

The problem with Boxee is they took XBMC and castrated it but added really plugins.

@jsmuli2: so here was my idea, barcode scanner that prints out rfid tags. Then you put a directional reader in every cabinet. And if you want to get super cool you have load cells built into the cabinets to you can figure out how much stuff you have.

I've always wanted one where you could have recipes on it and then match them up with the the cooking shows videos i have.

Boxee Beta is one of the most frustrating products i have ever used. They did so much right like with streaming media off the net and apps but essentially castrated XBMC. Some of the best XBMC features like defining your own scrapers and custom themes are totally gone.

I don't celebrate xmas because I'm Jewish and while I don't hate Christians celebrating their religious ceremony, I hate xmas the day because everything is closed. It is the most boring day of the entire year.

i use a toaster oven all the time to reheat pizza and cook baked potatoes when i'm using my oven for the main dish.
