Just use a silver permanent marker. I also use one to label which power plugs go with which devices.
Doesn't it seem like check the sharpness of a knife on your thumbnail goes against keeping your fingers intact?
@hadees: i couldn't get the link in there
@#1Pip: Its from pottery barn and it costs almost $1400. I looked at it but I don't want to spend that much on a bar unless i'm having someone build me a custom one.
I use [www.otherinbox.com] so I have a new address to use for every website I sign up with. That way i keep everything separate and have a primary email address which only gets mail from friends and people i give my email to.

@evan_phi: I have to agree with the group. A ladle is defiantly the best way to go. This idea is interesting in theory but not really practical. It makes more sense to try and reuse that bottle for like homemade mayonnaise. Although I hate ketchup so i would never have that bottle.
I have one only because in the tv/internet/phone package, as crazy as it sounds, its cheaper to have all three instead of just tv and Internet. I never use the phone line save for my security system and I don't even have a phone hooked up to it.
I thought most distros do this already. On gentoo it already turns it red.
