i haven’t read all the replies, so maybe somebody touched on this - but i think the one my wife bought [not sure it’s on this list] vibrates the baby to try to wake it up if it senses their new brains have ‘forgotten’ to tell them to breathe [as is one theory about SIDS.] if it can’t or maybe simultaneously it rings…
