It was pretty awesome when I saw it this AM after HTG posted it. I mistakenly bookmarked it to check later today. Yeah..... maybe tomorrow. :)
I occasionally have to "reconnect" to the server, but never during a show or movie. It buffers fine for me, and I'm running the server on my netbook with all of my media on an external HDD connected to it. I only run TV shows and movies, so I have no experience with the music side. I'm playing mostly AVIs and MP4s…
I run the server on my netbook and just pull the media from there to my Google TV or my Kindle Fire. The Fire app is still a little wonky, but it's GOLD on GTV. It's my version of cable cutting, and it's easy enough to use my less-than-tech-savvy wife can use it.
What if I format the partition with Dev Build on it and install Consumer? I feel like that's what I did for Dev Build. Should be able to keep Win7 for the dual boot I hope. Like I said, I can do it with the Dev Build... ?

PLEASE make sure you find out how we can install this over the Dev Preview. I'm using it as my daily driver, but I'm itching to replace it with the update. Thanks, Whitson!
Edit: Found it. Search was a little bit hidden.
Are we sure it's the Arrow theme? Can't seem to find it in the app.
FYI: This can also be accessed via mobile. Click messages in the menu, other at the bottom. #tips
Slow cooker/ crock pot EVERYTHING. We make pot roast, Mexican chicken, pork loin (with or without black beans), the list goes on. Invest in one. My dad got me one for Christmas 4 years ago and it was the most used tool I had in the kitchen during those "lean" college years.
As far as offline availability is concerned, if you click the "corner" tab on the album you can make it available offline.
Hackers, I need a hobby. I'm taking a semester off from school so I've got some free time. I think I want to do something tech- or DIY-related, but I'm really clueless as to what I may want to do. I know it can't be too expensive of a hobby. Should I learn to code something? Fiddle with Linux or Android? Build an…
My issue is that 98% of those files ARE on my computer. I made a playlist for my wedding (it's about 7 hours long) and I did it in Spotify b/c there were about 4 songs I needed to get online. I'd like to be able to export the list of songs I DO have access to. Oh, and Spotify's new free-level restrictions are…
LATE reply, but I have Wireless Tether and LOADS more space. I can direct you to the specific instructions if you're still looking for them.... If you're ok with typing, or a bit of copy-paste, it's not difficult and WELL worth it.
Is there any way to export playlists from Spotify for use in other Windows apps, specifically WinAmp? Any ideas?
I rooted mine following the directions on the AndroidCentral forums. It's not too hard, there's an app to install the custom recovery after it's rooted, and the community is really helpful. Try that out. If you need some more help, let me know!
Normally, I'd be worried about accidentally answering calls. However, if it takes VIOLENT shaking to answer, my concern switches to not being able to answer in time. Great idea, but this isn't for me. It's kinda like reverse pocket dialing. :)
Yeah.... I got it all installed, but now I can't get MPlayer or WiiMC to give me an option for UPnP shares. Tried GeexBox, too. SOL. If anyone has any ideas.... :)
I know that MPlayer CE (a homebrew app, though not my media player of choice) has a UPnP option. I've just never had the server set up correctly. I'll mess around with it tonight, see if I can get it to work, and let you guys know how it goes!
