We had the same rule at my high school. There was also a rule that we had to pay a fine to get into school if we forgot our school ID.

Bless this post. Jezebel is so anti-intellectual when it comes to art. It's embarrassing.
As the child of an older mother I agree with you. I love my mother but her decision was selfish and it's hurting me now as an adult. I guess the silver lining is that this woman sounds really fucking rich so at least the kids will get their inheritance early.
Honestly, as the only child of an older mother it's not all roses and her passing on wisdom and life experience. Being 22 and having to financially support my sick, almost elderly mother is rough and I have a hard time dealing with the fact that I'll be an orphan much earlier than the majority of my peers.
I've always said that the concept of cabs is bizarre to me as a woman because they go against absolutely all of my safety instincts. Getting into a locked vehicle, alone, with a strange man driving, usually at the dead of night? Absolute nightmare scenario. Men just don't get it.
The image of Brad Pitt standing at the end of the aisle humming 'Here Comes the Bride' in a silent room is awesome in a David Lynch sort of way.
Glad I'm not the only one who thought that was worth noting.
He's one of those guys who's so classically handsome that he goes past attractive and back into "whatever" again.
No I'm saying that since Staten Island has a reputation for being very conservative it would be interesting to see a breakdown of how many protesters were locals vs. out of towners. I'm curious if demographics are shifting on SI.
As someone born and raised on Staten Island, I'm really surprised at the amount of people who came out to protest. I wonder how many of them were from other boroughs.
I can't tell if the massive amount of blatant product placement is funny or depressing.
Why are you so quick to beat her down? I just don't see why this is worth saying...
Everyone in the Brooks family looks like they want to die.
Bingo. You nailed it.
I can't articulate exactly why but I find the whole "Hot Felon" story so depressing.
Lol yeah, but apparently I'm mentally ill and anorexic. It's funny how transparent the double standard is. If I had said I eat 10,000 calories a day and am perfectly healthy anyone who challenged me would be met with shrieks of "HEALTH AT ANY SIZE YOU ARE NOT MY DOCTOR, etc."
Whoops! Time to reevaluate my whole life because Yoga Nerd MD from the internet told me I'm wrong!
I never said that the majority of people were shit-talking the model. I said that in general, the amount of shit-talk directed at models is comical. For example, I remember an article here about Victoria's Secret models a while ago where commenters were saying the models looked like, "anorexic 14 year-old virgins…
The diet you just posted sounds really close to what I eat everyday and I'm perfectly fine. I'm also a short, mostly sedentary woman. Different people have different nutritional and dietary needs and that shouldn't always be pathologized.
Depending on your height and activity level 1,096 calories is perfectly reasonable.
