see? this is why we shouldn’t let Ken Block have irreplaceable rally cars.

eh...the baddie’s bike is also a Triumph. he gets no left hand throttle.

.....why was there a left hand throttle on the Speed Triple (Cruise’s bike)?

Conor Daly definitely suffers from affluenza. I raced against him a few years ago, and I did not like any part of his attitude. no thanks to seeing him get any more success than he already has. Newgarden, on the other hand...get that dude a phone call to Gene Haas ASAP.

you do realize that it’s currently impossible to go around the hairpins on Pikes Peak at 150mph, right? with our current tech, it’s near impossible to get around those hairpins at any speed which downforce would even start to become effective. those are just inherently slow corners. they’re just 20-30mph corners.

eh...a corner is a corner and a pass is a pass. I’d say turn 17 at Sebring is a harrier place to pass just because of how bumpy it is there. and the whole “oh, well do it in an LMP and we’ll talk” kind of attitude you have? yea, go ahead and pony up the near $100k per race it takes to drive one, and I’m sure this guy

...I actually like how the GT sounds............

downforce only really “works” starting somewhere around 45-60 mph. I would wager that most of those hairpins are below that speed, so it’s mostly mechanical grip that’s getting him around them.

if this kid gets banned, I guarantee he’ll be whining that he didn’t get a “fair shot” and others were “out to get him.” people like this are always unaware their own actions and never think the rules apply to them. I’m tired of this being the guy representing our country on a world motorsport level.

if you’re on Pikes Peak during a race weekend, and you hear sirens, you’ve got about 3 seconds to get the hell off the tarmac before being struck at speeds anywhere from 40-160mph.

Now playing

this top down shot doesn’t quite do it...this video from the perspective of the side of the road, though... motherofgod.jpg

were the ramps Pastrana used at Caesar’s Palace closer together or higher than what Evel used? they never covered that, IIRC, but it looks like they were.

why can’t America produce an F1 driver who isn’t an outrageous douche? why don’t get get J. Newgarden to race in F1? I raced against him years ago. nice guy, and just as quick.

but, I put it in my cart and the total before tax was $35.99, even with the coupon...is this a bait & switch?...

$9k for a Miata *ENGINE*.....yea, I’ll stick to karts and motorcycles...

so wait...a tow truck at a sanctioned SCCA event got unsafely released into traffic directly onto the racing line with a non-waving yellow flag, hit and totaled a Spec Miata that costs at least $10k (probably more), and the SCCA is trying to weasel their way out of paying for Agha’s car?

Holy shit, I hope he rakes

Oh, dang! This is Driveway Austin!

so, wait...they’re not actually selling the new Polestar? they’re essentially only leasing it?

is this even a question? someone call up 2009 WDC Jenson Button. say whatever you want about how quick he may or man not be over 1 lap, but he was one of the best drivers on the grid in history (look at his consistency for getting points for proof). he’d make an excellent TG presenter. Jens TG all the way.

no, that’s just an urban legend. that doesn’t even make sense on any level. F1 cars in that time had WAYYYYYYYYYYY more power, better suspension, better downforce, and much less weight. that is an urban legend, and not possible. do some more digging on the matter.
